What are the eligibility requirements for earning referral bonuses?

In order to be eligible for the referral bonus, however, your referrals’ monthly deposits must be a direct deposit of $1000 OR at least $1000 in deposits OR an average daily balance of $1000. Direct deposits must be made by the depositor’s employer, payroll provider, or benefits payer by Automated Clearing House (ACH) deposit. As long as a referred account has direct deposits ongoing (at least monthly) or new deposits totaling at least $1,000 per month or an average daily balance of $1000, it continues to count toward your referral bonus calculation. If a referred account does not have new deposits totaling at least $1,000 per month, but the average daily balance is $1,000, it will continue to count toward your referral bonus. If a referred account no longer counts toward your referral bonus calculation, the original referral bonus will be subtracted from any new credits. However, you will never owe actual cash back even if a monthly referral bonus calculation becomes negative overall.
