Can I use your app to pay friends and family members?

Out to lunch and gotta settle up with that friend? Want an easy way to pay the babysitter? We got this covered. Just fire up the Pay-a-Person feature in your booyah! Mobile App, enter their mobile phone number or email and it’s done!

Steps to send money to a person already added in Bill Pay.
1. Login to online banking or your booyah! Mobile App.
2. Navigate to “Bill Pay” then “Send/Transfer Money”.
3. In the “To” field, select the person’s name you wish to send money and enter the amount to send.
4. For security, enter a question & answer that friend will know the answer to. Example: Where did we go for lunch today? What is your dog’s name?
5. Click “Send”.

Your friend will receive a text or email alerting them to the pending payment from you. They will see the security question and provide the answer (it must match your answer). Once complete, they can move this money into their bank account through ACH. This means they will simply enter their banks routing number and account number to complete the transfer of funds.

If you haven’t added this person yet in Bill Pay, it’s a simple process.

Adding a new person in Bill Pay
1. Login to online banking or your mobile app.
2. Navigate to “Bill Pay” then “Send/Transfer Money”.
3. Next to the “People” widget, select the “Add” link.
4. Enter the recipient’s Name and either their email or mobile number.
5. Click “Save”.

This person will now be available in the “To” field for sending money.
